Refund & Cancelation Policies
At Blue Roof Bostons Kennel & Grooming, we provide a personalized and transparent experience across all our services: overnight stays, professional grooming, and Boston Terrier puppy placements. Here’s how we handle cancellations, refunds, and returns.
Overnight Kenneling-
Cancellations:
You may cancel your kennel reservation at any time with no penalty or fees.
Please let us know as soon as possible so we can make space available for others.
Early Pickups:
If you need to pick up your dog earlier than scheduled, just let us know and we will facilitate.
Emergencies:
We understand things come up - just reach out. We're happy to accommodate schedule changes.
Grooming Services
Satisfaction Guarantee:
If you're not satisfied with the grooming, contact us within 24 hours. We may offer
A free touch-up or adjustment
A partial or full refund if the issue can’t be corrected
Cancellations & No-Shows:
Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment – no fee
No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a $35 no-show fee
We do not collect deposits for grooming appointments.
Puppy Sales
Health Guarantee (NYS Pet Lemon Law)
All puppies are sold with a New York State-compliant health guarantee:
14-day return for contagious or infectious illness diagnosed by a licensed vet
1-year return for a life-impacting congenital defect
You may choose:
A full refund with the return of the puppy
A replacement puppy (if available)
Reimbursement of vet fees up to the purchase price
Non-Health Related Returns:
We do not offer refunds for behavioral concerns or personal life changes
If you can no longer care for your dog, we will accept the puppy back as a surrender—no refund, but a promise of safe rehoming
No Deposits Taken For Puppies:
We do not accept deposits. Puppies are purchased in full at the time of pickup.
Additional Information:
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
